Who’s BOSSS’s Founder

As a fully-licensed motor vehicle mechanic, former racing team manager, professional photographer by trade, and senior marketing executive for IBM PCs, James Fan, C.S.P., B.A.S., the founder of BOSSS Inc., furthered his education at York University (Toronto, ON) with a Bachelor degree of Administrative Studies, focusing in corporate finance and international marketing. In the same year, he also became an accredited individual with the elite designation of C.S.P. – also known as a Certified Sales Professional – in Canada, and has been an active CSP since.

A long-time member of Canadian Professional Sales Association, James is driven with a passion to pursue precision and excellence. He launched “Back Office Support Services” (B.O.S.S.) in the late 1990’s with a passion to aid businesses to ride through the toughest recession in recent memory.

James is an avid sports enthusiast. He has engaged himself in various high-thrill, precise-accuracy athletic activities. Capitalizing the technical skills acquired from these high-thrill sports, such as the precision nature in motor racing, he founded BOSSS Inc. in 2006. He sees businesses are confronting another wave of impact, and that is the impact of Digital Waves. He also sees businesses are in need of agile, precisely-executed strategy in today’s ever-evolving dynamic market space. “Exceed expectation is an understatement, precision is the key to great sailing in the Blue Ocean*…”.

Since 2016, James assumed a role as Advisor and is actively pursuing a new venture in Data Acquisition and Management, an Environmental Data Services & Analytics or EDSA, which he hopes to launch in the next few months.

*Blue Ocean is a term derived from W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne’s “Blue Ocean Strategy” first published in 2005.
